When to visit Chiang Mai

Traditionally the perceived wisdom is that winter – November to February – is the best time to visit Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand and whilst the cool and sometimes cold evenings and bright blue skies are great, whatever you do don’t discount the magic of other times of year.
