Founder – Bruce Haxton
After years running various adventure travel businesses Bruce founded The Tuk Tuk Club to help others see the very best of Thailand. After driving thousands of miles around the mountains in a borrowed Bangkok Tuk Tuk (that’s a whole other story) he knew that exploring the mountains of Northern Thailand in one of these iconic vehicles was the best way to experience Thailand to the full. Committed for years to helping travellers experience the laid back, charming Thailand that he fell in love with 30 years ago, Bruce is obsessed with making sure every traveller gets to see the ‘real’ Thailand – a place bursting at the seams with amazing scenery, fascinating culture, incredible food and warm welcoming people.
The Operations Team
The unsung hero’s of The Tuk Tuk Club. Our Operations team, led by Khun Yaya, are the people that make sure everything happens as it should. From minivan transfers and making sure the best food on the planet is ready to helping us secure the best rooms for our travellers, this team are true experts at what they do. Hugely experienced in the travel industry and totally obsessed with making sure travellers get to experience their homeland properly, the wheels of The Tuk Tuk Club operate smoothly thanks to their dedication, knowledge and ability to find a solution to anything that arises. Every single one of them are expert Tuk Tuk drivers and enjoying nothing more than heading up into the mountains to explore new villages, Temples and communities.
