Itinerary

Day 1: Tuk Tuks, Temples And Hill Tribes

You’re adventure will start when our team picks you up in Chiang Mai city and transfers you to the Tuk Tuk training base in Mae Wang, around an hour away.

On arrival at our ‘base camp you’ll be introduced immediately to your Tuk Tuk and get started with the driver training training. This takes place on a dedicated track and will give you plenty of time to get used to your Tuk Tuk. They are pretty easy to drive but your guide will take everything nice and slowly making sure you’re feeling comfortable behind the wheel.

You then head off down winding rural lanes through small farming communities and to a remote mountain Temple where you’ll receive a blessing for the adventure ahead.

After an great northern Thai lunch you then head along more small roads high up into the mountains towards our overnight destination of a remote Karen Hill Tribe village. You’re camping here tonight in a clearing (don’t worry – there are showers and toilets available) to get a real mountain experience.

In the evening you’ll learn how to cook ‘jungle style’ over an open fire before enjoying swapping stories around the campfire and then spending a night under the starts. This really is a Thailand Adventure!
