The Journey

The best 1 day adventure in Chiang Mai

Looking for Chiang Mai’s best travel 1 day travel experience?

Fancy the perfect combination of adventure and sightseeing?

Fear not, you can now experience The Tuk Tuk Club on our stunning one-day Northern Thailand adventure.

Almost certainly the most fun you can have in a single day around Chiang Mai (or anywhere else for that matter). Unleash your inner Tuk Tuk driver as well as spending time at an awesome elephant home and then floating gently down river on a bamboo raft.

Is there a better way to spend a day in Chiang Mai? We doubt it…..

1 Day Tuk Tuk Adventure

Drive

Drive your very own Tuk Tuk through stunning countryside and tiny rural communities

Learn

Spend time with elephants as you feed, walk and help bathe them at a superb small elephant home

Ride

Float on a bamboo raft along the river for a very different perspective of the countryside

The Itinerary

  • 07:45

Join us at our meeting point for your transfer to the Tuk Tuk base camp (or we can pick you up from your Chiang Mai hotel between 08:00 and 08:30 – just let us know where you’re staying when you book and we can sort things out!)

  • 09:30

Arrive at Tuk Tuk base camp, meet your Tuk Tuk and start your driver training.

  • 10:30

Set off in convoy through tiny rural roads, past fascinating Temples and explore stunning view points on our way to meet the elephants. And don’t forget, you’re actually driving your own Tuk Tuk!

  • 11:30

Arrive at the elephant home, learn these wonderful animals and their lives and help the mahouts to feeding them before having a simple but hearty Thai lunch yourself.

  • 1:00

Walk with the elephants through the countryside down to the local river where you can help the mahouts give the elephants a well deserved bath.

  • 3:00

Jump on your bamboo raft and float gently downstream enjoying the different view and cool (hopefully!) breeze.

  • 4:00

Jump back into your Tuk Tuk and it’s time for one last drive back to base camp.

  • 4:45

Transfer back by minivan to Chiang Mai city. We’ll drop you off at hour hotel by around 6:00pm at the latest after a great day out.
